NCR Information

Invoices, delivery notes, credit notes, receipts, waste notes and much more are used in NCR books, pads or sets. Individually printed with your company details and other specific requirements such as time sheets, stock supplies, travel details, invoices etc. Our low trade priced NCR books, sets and pads create multiple copies when the top copy is completed to use as proof of service to your customers, your file, job approval, delivery proof and your own invoices.

NCR stands for “no carbon required”. The NCR self-carbonising paper is chemically treated to copy the top sheet to the subsequent lower sheets with little pressure. 2, 3, 4 up to 6 sheet can be used to make copies of the top form at same time. A writing shield is supplied with pads or books and is used to insert between the sets to prevent the writing pressure marking the lower sets, writing shields are not required when using NCR sets.

We have been supplying NCR books, sets and pads to the trade and public for many years. Our stock NCR products are a completely finished products we do not charge extra for glueing, perforating, delivery etc. Optional extras can be added to NCR products such as double numbering, extra perforations, hole punching, multi view pages, different content pages and much more please contact us with any extras you may require.

NCR PADS

NCR pads are many NCR sets glued together in to one pad, usually 50 sets per pad but can be however many sets you require i.e 25 sets. Supplied with a writing shield that is inserted beneath the current working set to prevent pressure from marking the lowers sets. Fill out the top form/set and then tear off the individual sheets for distribution. Re-insert the writing shield under the next set in the pad. The NCR sheets tear from the pad individually not as a complete set.

Pads are great for on the go use – sets are kept together in the pad and used when needed. Pads have a thick strawboard backing to assist writing on the sheets.

NCR BOOKS

NCR books are similar to NCR pads except they are stapled at the edge to hold the sets together. Books are more robust than pads, the sets are perforated to enable the sheets to be torn out of the books when used. Often the bottom sheet of the set is NOT perforated and remains in the book. This enables the spent book to be saved as a copy of the contents of the filled in sets from the book.

NCR books are ideal for making sure you always have your file copies kept together, nothing can go missing.

NCR SETS

NCR loose sets are induvidually glued. Whether you have a 2, 3, 4 or more part NCR, all of the parts are glued together to make one complete set.

These NCR sets are loose. Being loose NCR sets they are ideal for office use where another person enters part of the details they can be taken away to be completed on site, with deliveries or to another department.

NCR Tips & Advice

• Usually, a different coloured carbon paper is used for each copy (either being 2-part, 3-part etc). This so each copy can be distintly identified for each intended purpose eg. Pink Copy for Driver, Yellow Copy for Customer etc.

• If you choose our numbered NCR products, we can start from any number you require. So rather than starting from 1, we can begin your NCR's from 2001 - so the first customer actually looks like the 2000th customer.

• Going for the printed 2-sided option? In order to prevent the print shining through the print, go for grey text rather than black.

• Consider the numbering option! It is very handy for you to keep track on how many forms you have been through and for retriving older copies.
